Port of Dover
Cruise Terminal 2, Western Dock
The Port of Dover is located approximately 110 miles from London's Heathrow Airport (approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours), approximately 85 miles from London's Gatwick Airport (approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours), approximately 95 miles from London's Stansted Airport (approximately 2 hours) and approximately 80 miles from Central London (approximately 1 1/2 hours).
From London traveling by car - Traveling by car, direct to the Cruise Terminals you are advised to travel on the M20/A20. The Dover Cruise Terminals are extremely well sign posted. For your information "M" stands for Motorway which is the same for freeway and an "A" is similar to a highway.
Using Public Transportation from London Gatwick International Airport - There is no direct rail service from London Gatwick to Dover Priory station. There are two options for travel by rail, both options involve at least one change. The first option is travel via Tonbridge; the journey time is approximately 2 hours. The second option is via London Bridge and the journey time is approximately 2 1/2 hours. Generally this service operates on an hourly basis. Please check local train schedules to confirm departure and arrival times. On arrival at Dover Priory you will need to take a taxi to Dover Cruise Terminal Two, the terminal is approximately 5 minutes from the station subject to traffic conditions.
Using Public Transportation from London Heathrow International Airport - Take the Heathrow Express to London Paddington Station. This service currently departs every 15 minutes and the trip takes 15 minutes. On arrival in Paddington, transfer to London Waterloo East by taxi; once there take a direct service train to Dover Priory Station. On arrival at Dover Priory you will need to take a taxi to Dover Cruise Terminal Two, the terminal is approximately 5 minutes from the station subject to traffic conditions. A regular service operates to Dover and the journey time is approximately one hour and fifty minutes.

Train transportation is available - South West Trains operate from London Waterloo direct to Southampton Central Station approximately every 30 minutes. Travel time is approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. Directions from Airport
From London Heathrow: Take M4 toward Central London/M25, follow the direction to M3 toward Southampton. From M3 follow the sign to M27 West Junction 3 onto M271 to signposted Southampton. Follow the signs to Eastern Docks for the Ocean Cruise Terminal, follow the signs to Dock Gate 10 for the Mayflower Terminal or follow the signs to Dock Gate 4 for the Queen Elizabeth Terminal.
From London Gatwick: Take M23 to M25. Continue on M25 and exit on M3 toward Basingstoke/Southampton. From M3 follow the sign to M27 West to Junction 3 onto M271 to signposted Southampton. Follow the signs to Eastern Docks for the Ocean Cruise Terminal, follow the signs to Dock Gate 10 for the Mayflower Terminal or follow the signs to Dock Gate 4 for the Queen Elizabeth Terminal.
Directions by Rail - Direct train services link Southampton with many parts of the UK. South West Train operates 15-minute interval daytime fast service between London Waterloo and Southampton Central. Longer distance services provide direct links with Bristol, South Wales, the Midlands, the North and Scotland.
From outside the train station (southside and signed for Red Funnel and Isle of Wight) you can either use a taxi, or there is a free CityLink bus service (green coloured bus) which runs every 10-15 minutes between the rail station and Town Quay.

Port of Tilbury
London Cruise Terminal

The port of Tilbury is approximately one hour from London Heathrow Airport and London Gatwick Airport.
Using Public Transportation - Tilbury Town is the closest station to the London Cruise Terminal, and is on the main London Fenchurch to Southend line. The station is approximately a 15-minute walk from the London Cruise Terminal, and taxi services are available at the station. Rail passengers are also able to use the shuttle bus service which operates between the train station and the Tilbury/Gravesend Ferry, which is adjacent to the cruise terminal.
Directions by Road - From the M25, take the A13 exit. Travel about three miles on A13, then take the A1089/Dock Approach Rd. exit toward Docks/Tilbury. Continue on A1089 until you reach the port.

Greenwich, Greater London, UK
The Greenwich Pier is approximately 28 miles from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
Using Public Transportation - Several companies run river tour boats from central London piers at Westminster Bridge, the Millenium Wheel and the Tower of London, to Greenwich pier which is adjacent to Greenwich town centre. The Docklands Light Railway system runs from central London terminals at Tower and Bank. Six trains an hour run on weekdays from London Bridge to Greenwich station.
Directions by Road - From the M25, look for Junction J2 and take the A2 exit. Greenwich is just off the A2. Look out for signposts.
